MEET EMMA
The gal behind the glam
I first knew I wanted to be in the beauty industry when I was around the
age of 8. I had a super creative and extravagant aunt who opened my
eyes to the gorgeous “girly-girl” world! I grew up riding dirt bikes with
my dad and brother and thought being “girly” just wasn’t for me. Until I
met her, my Aunt Kristen. Still to this day if I smell Marc Jacobs Daisy
Perfume, I go back to the first time she let me play in makeup! Little did
she know, I’d be obsessed from then on. While we all struggle with
confidence and self-love, people love to say that we use makeup to hide.
But in my opinion, that couldn’t be furthest from the truth. Our “WAR
PAINT” is just that, paint for the war of the day ahead. We prepare
ourselves to take on the day, those around us, and the challenges at
hand, but the best war paint is the paint that you feel represents you
BEST! Now in no way am I saying we need makeup every day or when we see others. I believe we need makeup to see what we love most about ourselves. Whether it’s a red lip to compliment your lip shape or spice up a look, or a huge winged liner to enhance eye shape or color! My love of being a makeup artist is to show my client how beautiful they are to be and in my eyes.
